Jerome Philips

Owner
Jerome decided to launch an A Place At Home franchise after personally experiencing the challenges of caring for his father during an unexpected and persistent illness. At this time, he became aware of both the needs of seniors and the challenges they face in navigating their way to appropriate care. As a result, he is passionate about maintaining the quality of life for seniors no matter what their circumstances are. He is also committed to providing an understanding and supportive work environment for caregivers.

Kaylee Summers

Office Manager
Kaylee is an Oregon native, who enjoys the weather that comes with the Pacific Northwest. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and being with her family and friends. She started her career in the medical field, as she has a caring and empathetic nature. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Colorado State University. Having over twelve years of experience in this field, she has expanded her knowledge and continually looks to learn and improve. Her goal with A Place At Home is not only to provide safe and compassionate care to our elders, but also to provide a secure, knowledgeable, and welcoming work environment for our caregivers.

Senior Living Advisor
Tanya Rosequist
Senior Living Advisor Tanya was born in Portland, Oregon, and loves all that the Pacific Northwest offers her and her family. She is one of 4 children, being the only girl. Tanya is passionate about people and care. You can find her with her family either on the water kayaking or enjoying a hike somewhere within the beautiful Oregon wooded forests.

Tanya’s passion for seniors started at a young age. She didn’t embrace her passion until after the loss of her mother to Lou Gehrig’s disease in 2009. Her career at that point changed course after meeting a bath aide who had come into her home to care for her mother.

At the time Tanya’s career as an event planner was fulfilling, but she wanted a more meaningful career. She then gravitated towards serving seniors in senior communities. She started as an Activity Coordinator, planning events and connecting families together for meaningful memories to follow.

This led her into a path of helping seniors and their families find the perfect fit. Tanya treats each individual as if you were family. Her passion to connect seniors in the right community is meaningful.

Registered Nurse
Kim Griffiths

Registered Nurse
Maria likes helping people that depend on certain types of care to remain in their homes.

She enjoys helping our team and the clients determine and personalize how to do this through developing a plan and matching caregivers with specific training to them within the available resources. The successful achievement of more time lived where a person wants to be is satisfying to contribute to for them but also for Maria because it utilizes every aspect of her personal and nursing professional experiences to bring it together.

Sharlene Nalley

Scheduling Coordinator
Sharlene has been working in the healthcare field for the last four years. She discovered her passion for helping others while working in a memory care facility as a medication technician and caregiver. She has five siblings, three of which she helped take care of while growing up. Sharlene plans to go to Nursing school to finish her prerequisites. She loves spending time with family and friends, traveling to see new places, outdoor activities, and taking her shih tzu, Nym, for walks.
