Meet The Owners
Alex has served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps, both on active duty and on the reserves where he has trained and led marines as a Sergeant. Since then he has held several leadership positions in the healthcare industry, including operations, sales, marketing, and business development. He decided to launch an A Place At Home franchise after caring for seniors both personally and professionally, and seeing multiple family members and friends through assisted living, home care, and hospice. He is dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure that every senior has a top-notch experience while they’re being cared for by others.
C.W. was born and raised in Texas and is a Colorado State University Alumni. After graduating from college, he held several leadership roles. His passion has always been helping others. After caring for his ill father, who had Parkinson’s disease, he experienced first-hand the importance of excellent care being provided for those in need. He is passionate about providing care for families and strives to continue making a positive impact in the community. C.W. has a wife (Erika), a daughter (Kaiya), and two dogs (Mya & Peanut). He enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and golf.
Senior Services Manager
Madeleine has been a CNA for over 10 years, working in a variety of healthcare settings with experience in skilled nursing, home health, and hospice. She began her healthcare journey during high school when her grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. She lived with and took care of him until he passed, so she understands the toll that illness and decline can take on families. Madeleine received her bachelor’s degree in pre-medicine from CU Boulder and after seeing the lack of quality in the home health care system, this is where she diverted her attention to. Madeleine has a true passion and understanding for creating care plans for our clients and works really well with families.
Senior Services Coordinator
Amanda joined the healthcare field after leaving her career in higher education to care for her father full-time after he experienced multiple health complications. She noticed the lack of coordination in her father’s care and took it upon herself to coordinate all of his care while putting her life and career on hold until he was better. She has joined our team with 6 years of administrative experience including budget management, supervision, event planning, and employee development. Amanda’s passion is to create a positive change in the world. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, arts and crafts, playing board games and video games.
